I was reading an article on "Social Psychological Dimension" to get a better understanding on what we discussed in class on September 3. The article was really interesting it gave a social psychological view of the nature of international conflict. It described the social and psychological dynamics that tend to escalate conflicts and the resolving conflicts that requires reversing those dynamics. The article gave examples of the traditional views on international relations; one example was that conflict is given by people's collective fears and needs, and not solely by rational calculations of interest.
