Indeed! For many generations it was difficult for one person to be neurologist, philosopher, and experimentalist, mostly because of technological (and therefore temporal) limitations. It seems that cognitive science is finally to a point that we can actually investigate humans doing things that humans do in everyday life, but using sound experimental methods. We can finally recombine all the compartmentalized disciplines that cognitive science has historically been broken into.
