If you have some students who are particularly struggling with pronunciation, here is a link to a great resource which generates bingo cards. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions and print as many bingo cards as you need for your students. Put the base words in a bag or folder and have the students match the sound to the words on their card.
To make it a bit more difficult for higher levels you could cut up phonemes and have they memorize the sounds...then play bingo!

Hi teachers,

I'm planning a few excursions for this term but I'd like your ideas for places to go.

A few students from my classes would like to visit the clothes show in Birmingham, however its quite costly and far to get to. We also have the option of travelling to Whitby bay to visit the cathedral or York. Leeds town hall have a tour of the cellars and a history of leeds for £100 per 25 people in a group. I would prefer to do something which the students didn't have to pay for as it will encourage more of them to attend and meet eachother. However i know that many students have already visited York a few times so this might be ruled out. Another option is Yorkshire sculpture park. Can you suggest any other places?

Please give me your ideas, i would appreciate it.

Also advertise conversation club to your morning and afternoon students. It will take place next Tuesday 17th Jan at 3.30 in the computer room. (So please don't plan on using the computers til 4.30 those of you who teach the 3.30 classes.)

Goodmorning everyone!

Please come along to the cake table in reception at 1.50, there will be loads to choose from and it's all for a great cause.

Water aid get water to towns, villages and cities which have no access to safe drinking water. All the proceeds will go to this charity.

There will be recipes written in English on the table, please encourage your students to take a copy and have a go at reading it together in class.
