This node is currently hidden from students (as indicated by the red bullet/dot). You can click on 'change' (top right) to change a menu's status.
Nfomedia uses white, grey, and red bullets to represent the status of a menu item.
A white bullet indicates the menu item is public and can be viewed from a search engine like google or msn.
A grey bullet indicates the menu item can only be viewed by registered users.
A red bullet indicates the menu item can only be viewed by the course administrator. This is especially useful for 'works in progress.'
Because all menu items are independent (both main menu items and sub-menu items), their statuses are also independent.
For example, a main menu (Course Units) can be designated registered users only (grey) while some of its sub-menus (e.g. Unit 3 and Unit 4) may be designated administrator only (red) and others (e.g. Unit 1 and Unit 2) may be designated registered users only (grey).
The course menu structure is completely flexible. Menu items can be deleted, added, moved up/down, or renamed.
