I just entered your grades for the first three discussion topics - I am very proud of the effort and insight you are all putting into these responses! Here is a quick list of what you've done so far to merit 5's...

1. You're doing a good job of showing me you've read these journals and understand the main points

2. Referencing and building upon the posts of your peers

3. Citing other current research and breakthroughs

4. Applying your knowledge from class and the text book

5. Posing questions

6. The lengths of your responses are great; quality is better than quantity, but so far you've had them both - keep it up.

You rock - as always let me know if I can help in any way :-)

Topic #3 is up, please post your comment by next Monday at midnight for 5 points. This study is pretty interesting (especially if you like neuroanatomy!)

I sent an e-mail to your .colorado.edu addresses but have not heard a response from everyone yet. Some of you are having difficulty accessing the site and/or the discussion board - if so please let me know so we can figure it out. I will be posting the second discussion topic this evening (on Schizophrenia) so if you have not posted on the BD topic you will have TWO to do this week.

From now on, the papers will be available Monday nights and you will have until the following Monday to leave your 2 cents... let's try to make this fun/interesting :-)
