Definition:
If you get in touch with someone, you contact them by writing to them or telephoning them. If you are, keep, or stay in touch with them, you write, phone, or visit each other regularly.
If you are in touch with a subject or situation, or if someone keeps you in touch with it, you know the latest news or information about it. If you are out of touch with it, you do not know the latest news or information about it.

Cambridge Examination Entries December 2013


Dear Students
If you are interested in taking the Cambridge K.E.T, P.E.T, F.C.E, C.A.E and C.P.E in December 2013, you must submit your application next week, by 24th October 2013.
Any applications made after this date will be late entries and will cost £20 more.

Conference Held at Leeds Language College Ltd.


Dear Students
On Saturday 5th October 2013, a very important conference was held at Leeds Language College Ltd.

It was the English UK North Academic Conference, which takes place every year. This year Leeds Language College was chosen as the venue because Leeds is a good location for a conference. The organisers were also impressed with our college, offices and the rooms we had available for the conference.

Approximately 100 delegates attended the conference. These were English teachers and academic directors from other colleges in England, as well as publishers such as Cambridge University Press, Pearson Longman and Macmillian and representatives from universities and other educational organisations.

Three of our teachers - Clare Voke, Catherine Wilson and Stephanie Sanger were able to give a very informative presentation on teaching with new technologies. The audience enjoyed the talk and gave very positive feedback after the training sessions.
