Phrase of the week: I like my own space


Definition: means that someone feels better when he/she is in a place, which belongs to him/her. Commonly used when someone needs to be alone, to take some time for thinking about something or just to have a rest.

Synonyms: Home Sweet Home, private space, a space of my own, living on my own

Examples:
- How can I have my own space while being married?
- I love my family and my friends. But sometimes I need my own space

Phrase of the week: I am pretty annoyed


Definition: means that someone feels a slight irritation by troublesome, often created by repeated acts.

Synonyms: irritated, miffed, nettled, peeved, pissed, pissed off, roiled, stung, steamed

Examples:
- I was pretty annoyed at being woken up so early.
- I am pretty annoyed by the results of my exams.
