BUS 430 Leadership and Organizational Behavior Leadership and Organizational Behavior examines inter- and intrapersonal dynamics as they affect the achievement of corporate goals. This course will develop an understanding of the key issues managers need to master in order to manage the interface between people and organizations. This course will balance theories, research, and application. This course provides conceptual insights and behavioral skills needed for successful leadership of continuous improvement in individual, team and organizational performance. Topics include theories of organizational behavior concepts and applications, including motivation, group dynamics, organizational communication processes, leadership, power, authority, team building, and organizational development. Managing change in a complex domestic and international environment is also emphasized. Students are provided with a solid foundation for examining organizational behavior in a systematic manner.
