In general, when looking for a document, using a open source document management program would save you a considerable amount of time and effort. Furthermore, you can need less costly storage because the original paper-based record can be lawfully destroyed after it has been archived audit-proof. There are several other benefits of using a DMS, such as powerful automated text recognition (OCR) to allow full-text search.

These advantages can be combined with the advantages of open source applications. From a financial standpoint, open source software is free to use, and closed source implementations should be stopped at all costs.

1. Perform basic content editing (e.g. Syllabus, Meet the Professor, Handouts, Assignments).
2. Choose a theme or customize your background under Site Settings.
