Course Description

Apples, especially the Pink Lady variety, are one of the greatest fruits for weight reduction considering they provide high fiber (which naturally speeds up the digestion), low carbohydrates, and are composed mainly of water. They are also quite versatile in how they're eaten.

Apples are additionally full of flavonoids and antioxidants to possibly reduce risks of cardiovascular disease, cancers, diabetes, and hypertension. One study found that individuals who ate 1 apple per day had greater weight loss effects and lower blood glucose levels.
